Whether you prefer in-person services or online resources, we offer convenient options to help your child succeed.

Teacher in the Library

Get help from a certified teacher to complete homework and improve study skills. Teacher in the Library is available online or in person.

Services are available throughout the school year, with breaks when public schools are not in session.

Online

Register for one or more of our Homework Help: Virtual Teacher in the Library sessions with a quick question or stay for the whole session. Sessions are available from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

In Person

Drop in for homework help at library locations around the city. Schedules vary by location:

Brainfuse Online Tutoring

Access personalized tutoring with Brainfuse online daily from 2 to 11 p.m. Log in from the library, at home or on any connected device using your library card. Tutoring experts can help you with:

    • Writing assignments
    • Math, science and social studies subjects
    • Spanish homework
    • English as a Second Language lessons
    • And much more

Available in English and Spanish for early elementary through advanced college prep students. Practice tests (including ACT/SAT), a writing lab, video content and other resources are available 24/7.
