Use a Computer
Visit any CPL location to use a computer. If you don’t have a Chicago Public Library card, you can request a daily guest pass for computer access.
Computers are available from the time a location opens until 10 minutes before the location closes.
Printing at CPL
Visit any CPL location to print a document. You can use a library computer or print from your own device.
Printing Hours for all CPL Locations
- Printing ends 10 minutes before closing.
Printing Costs
- $.15 per sheet for 1-sided prints
- $.25 per sheet for 2-sided prints
The first $1.50 in printing each day is free. Color printing is not available.
Print from Your Phone or Computer
You can send documents to any CPL location from your own phone or computer. There are two options:
Option 1: Upload
Choose this option if you need double-sided printing.
Visit https://cpl.eprintitsaas.com/public/upload to upload your document(s).
Option 2: Email
Only single-sided printing is available when emailing documents.
Email your documents (either as an attachment or in the body of the email) to:
mobileprinting@chipublib.org.
After you have submitted your documents, visit any CPL location, find a Print Release Kiosk and follow the instructions provided. Please note that mobile prints must be released within 24 hours. Check hours for all locations here to plan your visit to release your print.
