The Miseducation of Cameron Post by emily danforth is one of my top 5 favorite books of all time. Cameron's journey is heartbreaking and empowering, and her hilarious voice makes me want to be her BFF.

Tiny Cooper from Will Grayson, Will Grayson is one of my favorite characters bar none. His musical (which you may remember from WGWG) about his life as a big fabulous gay kid is now a novel/musical called Hold Me Closer, and if you like musical theater references or just laughing in general, you should definitely check it out!

My favorite part of this book is Etta's discussion of how identifying as bisexual makes her "too gay for the straight kids and too straight for the gay kids," an issue that I've seen many people struggle with IRL.
Not Otherwise Specified is available in other formats.
