Build Something Awesome!

My son loves LEGO, so I knew I would have to take him to The LEGO Movie. What I didn’t expect was how much I would enjoy myself. I loved that Emmet could only fit in when he stopped following the instructions, even though he really needed them to build anything. But my favorite thing about the movie was how much it inspired my son to just play with his LEGO bricks and not worry about being perfect.

If you are looking for some building inspiration, try these to become a MasterBuilder:

LEGO Play Book: This book includes lots of models to inspire, but the best features are tips, quick building ideas and challenges from real Lego fanatics.

The LEGO Adventure Book: The first volume in this series gives step-by-step instructions for builds, while telling a comic-like story.

Totally Cool Creations: These easy builds with just a few pieces make this a great choice for younger Lego fans or if you're just building your collection.
