Time Bending Books for Teens

In fiction, time can bend in unpredictable ways. There are classic time travel stories, which send characters to the faraway past or catapult them to a distant future. Other characters are sent back in time to a recent event in their lives. Some characters don't travel at all. Instead, they are stuck in a time loop, repeating the same day or even year. The books below feature teens in extraordinary, time bending realities.

Silas is a college freshman and an astrophysics major who suffers from uncontrollable time travel episodes. Periodically, he is forced into his pre-transition body to relive moments from his past. Silas is positive he is an anomaly until he meets Jude, who suffers from the same symptoms. Silas and Jude face their cosmic circumstances together in this slow-burn sci-fi romance.

Time-tripping Over You

Morning after morning, Laurie wakes up in the same girl's body, behind the wheel of the same car that is barreling down the same highway. In every time loop, he is helped by a stranger named Gideon, and the two have a magnetic chemistry. Laurie has no idea how to break the time loop. He hardly remembers any details about his own life. All he knows is he has limited time to get back in the right body.
