Illinois is one of several states that decided to give its citizens a chance to obtain affordable health care insurance. Through the state-run exchanges one is able to compare, choose and receive healthcare for an individual or family. You can go to GetCoveredIllinois.gov to sign up, or from noon until 4:00 pm Thursday, December 5th and Thursday, December 12th you can sign up for health insurance at the Blackstone Branch. A member from Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc. will be available to assist you in signing up. Additional dates may be added.
