A new exhibit, The North Branch of the Chicago River: Photos from 1887-1903, opens on the first floor of Sulzer Regional Library on August 17, 2026. The exhibit features 11 poster-sized reproductions of photos from the Northside Neighborhood History Collection. It shows the Chicago River between Lawrence and Montrose Avenues from 1887-1903. This exhibit will be on display until January 31, 2027.
