60 degrees is not cold! That temperature sounds pretty appealing at this point. For some stories of cold weather, arctic chill and survival, check out these titles.

In Survive, Jane plans to commit suicide while flying home from a treatment program. But life does not always go as planned. Instead of popping pills in the plane's bathroom, Jane ends up in the middle of a secluded mountain range after a plane crash that only has one other survivor. The turn of events forces Jane to realize she doesn't want to die, but surviving is not as easy as it used to be.

Revolver is set in the Arctic Circle in the early 20th century during the time of the gold rush. Our protagonist Sig finds his father frozen to death. Shortly after, a fearsome man claims Sig's father cheated people out of gold. As Sig tries to unravel the truth, he must decide if he is capable of using his father's revolver to save himself and his family.

A group of teenagers are snowbound in their high school. Sounds awful, right? In Trapped the snow piles up past the windows, the pipes freeze and only some make it out alive. Check out the book trailer!
