Other Stanleys!

So now that the Chicago Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup AGAIN, what else is there to do besides watch hockey?

Well, you can download the Cup Tracker on your mobile device and follow the whereabouts of the holy grail of hockey. This may seem extreme, but it's actually pretty fun—kind of like being a stalker of an inanimate object.

Or you can read up on actual people named Stanley. Turns out there are quite a few. There's Stan Laurel, Stan Musial, Henry Morton Stanley, Stanley Kubrick and there' s even a Flat Stanley! Who knew?? And for the icing on the cake, or the puck, Hawks Dynasty: The Chicago Blackhawks Run to the 2015 Stanley Cup is being released this week and is available at the Chicago Public Library. Awesome, you say? I agree!

Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown is a children's book about a boy who is flattened by a bulletin board, and how he finds out being flat isn't so bad.
