Greek Mythology Books for Kids

This summer, the world will get to enjoy yet another renaissance of Greek mythology. Director Christopher Nolan’s new film is an adaptation of "The Odyssey," an epic poem about the Greek hero Odysseus and his perilous ten-year journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. Divided into 24 separate books, it is one of the oldest works of literature in history and remains popular to this day.

However, you don’t need to read all 24 parts of The Odyssey to enjoy all the fantastical elements that Greek mythology has to offer. Luckily, people have embraced the beloved myths and fables for centuries, so there are plenty of re-tellings in countless different styles, eras and age groups.

Before you enjoy the movie on the big screen, read on to discover these recommended Greek mythology books for kids.
