Discuss Part 4: The Golden Age

What are your thoughts on The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay so far? Part 4 is the longest part to date, and features several important events, particularly in the relationship between Sam and Tracy Bacon. What are your feelings about Part 4? How did you feel about Sam’s decision to not go to California? What are your worries for Sam, Rosa, and Joe in the upcoming sections? In addition to a deeper look into the personal lives of Kavalier and Clay, “The Golden Age” sees a change in their work on The Escapist, and their art. Chabon acknowledges this in the pages following the characters’ viewing of Citizen Kane. What success do you think Kavalier and Clay will have in the comic book industry? Discuss these questions or ask new ones of your fellow OBOC readers in the comments section below. Whether you're not sure you agree with an opinion or you want to like a spot-on comment, be sure to respond!
