Free Homework Help at All CPL Locations

Free homework help at Chicago Public LibraryDoes your child need help building study skills? Do you have questions about your child’s homework assignment? Find answers to all your homework needs at the Chicago Public Library. We have resources to help you in person or online.

Live one-on-one homework help is available online every day from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. through Brainfuse. From early elementary through advanced college prep, students can get help with specific homework questions, study skills, paper writing and much more. Help is available in English and Spanish. Find test prep tools for the ACT and SAT and take lessons in English as a second language. Use Brainfuse at all CPL locations or at home with your library card.

Drop-in homework help is available for children and their parents at all CPL locations. Certified teachers and trained homework helpers assist children with getting focused, using the right learning strategies and finding the best resources for completing their homework assignments.

Homework helpers are also available to answer parents’ questions about their children’s homework and offer suggestions on how parents can help kids with school assignments at home.

Homework help hours vary by location; check with your location for days and times. This program is generously funded by the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
