Have you ever wanted to write, but weren’t sure where to start? Or maybe you’ve been writing for years and are looking for fresh inspiration. This fall, Chicago Public Library hosts brand-new series of free writing workshops for adults looking to get started writing. Bring your words to life!
Together with our partners at Story Studio Chicago, CPL presents a series led by local authors, poets, and teachers from Chicago’s literary community. No prior experience is needed - just bring your imagination and a willingness to try something new.
From character development and flash fiction to micro memoirs and even using tarot cards as writing prompts, there’s something here for every kind of storyteller.
