The Mini Maker Lab Arrives at West Lawn Branch

The Mini Maker Lab has arrived at West Lawn Branch. At the Mini Maker Lab, you can learn how to scan and 3D print your head, or make a custom design you can take home and iron on a T-shirt or sweatshirt.

Workshops are available twice a day on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Workshops offer a quick introduction to design software, and in less than two hours, you make the object you just learned to create.

The Mini Maker Lab will host visitors from Blue1647, a tech and entrepreneurship innovation center, and Daley College, a City College of Chicago with a robust and growing advanced manufacturing program. Hands-on workshops will also be available.
