Chicago Teen Gamers Guild
- January 8 – June 29, 2024
Get paid to plan the next Gamer’s Universe Gaming Convention! Teens can choose from one of the following guilds:
Esports

- Design and run game tournaments and other gaming experiences.
- Meetings: Tuesdays at Harold Washington Library Center (400 S. State Street).

- Create a cosplay look, design and host workshops and more.

Con Planning

- Work with partners and artists, plan interactive con experiences, design marketing materials and collaborate with the team to set the overall vibe of GU.

Experiential Game Design

- Work as a team to create an escape room, scavenger hunt, murder mystery, or other interactive game to be shared at Gamers Universe 2024.
- Meetings: at Back of the Yards, Dunning, Humboldt Park, Little Village, Little Italy, South Shore and Woodson Regional (see application for exact meeting dates by location).

- Transform your social media skills into real world experience and create engaging content that matters to teens.
- Meetings: Thursdays and some Saturdays at Harold Washington Library Center (400 S. State Street).

Teen BOTB Internship
- February 10 – December 14, 2024
- Get paid to read and rant about your favorite books of the year for CPL's Best of the Best. Record book talks and meet monthly to create the ultimate annual book list.
- Meetings: Every second Saturday of the month, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Harold Washington Library Center YOUmedia (400 S. State Street).
