Self-Published Authors Wanted!

Have you written a novel for adults? Would you like the chance to have it included in Chicago Public Library’s collection, and to get publicity around the state for you and your work? Submit it to the Soon to Be Famous Illinois Author Project!

Soon to Be Famous was created in 2013 to help local authors reach a greater audience through the power of libraries. Any Illinois-based author with a self-published adult novel is encouraged to apply for the 2016 prize. The winning author will receive publicity from libraries across the state, and his or her book will be included in Chicago Public Library’s collection.

Applications are accepted through January 4 at CPL and other libraries throughout the state.
