Learn How To Save Money and Energy With Citizens’ Climate Lobby

Want to save money and reduce your carbon footprint? Chicago Public Library is partnering with Citizens’ Climate Lobby , opens a new window(CCL) a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy climate change organization focused on national policies to address the national and global climate crisis, to present three workshops on electrification.

Led by Citizens' Climate Lobby experts, workshop attendees will learn how to leverage the historic economic incentives within the Inflation Reduction Act. In addition to saving money on your energy bills, you'll learn how you will help move the nation away from carbon-based fuels by electrifying your home and transportation.

The workshop will include information on how to access federal funding opportunities for:

  • Heat Pumps
  • Induction Stoves
  • Home Weatherization
  • Electric Vehicles
  • Rooftop Solar and Batteries

In addition to hearing from experts, patrons can learn the practical ins and outs via personal testimonials.
