Apply to be Part of the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild

Get paid to share your love of gaming!

The Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild (CTGG) is a group teen interns that plans Gamer’s Universe, our free all-ages gaming convention at Harold Washington Library Center. As a CTGG intern, you will work with your sub-guilds to plan convention programs, develop the look and feel of the convention, host lead-up events, and promote the convention through social media and community networks.

Each sub-guild has a different focus, schedule and meets at different CPL locations (descriptions below). Please consider this when applying for the internship.

Each CTGG member will work their sub-guild weekly schedule and set-up day and event day of Gamer’s Universe (Jun 12 + 13, 9am-5pm). In addition to this, we will have All-Guild meetings from 10am-1pm at Harold Washington Library Center semi-monthly on Saturdays (Feb. 7, Mar. 7, May 2, June 6), as well as two Field Trips to Uchi-Con (Jan. 24) and C2E2 (Mar 28).

The program will run from January to June. All CTGG interns will earn a stipend of $2,158, which will be paid monthly. We will also distribute Ventra day passes for all intern meetings.
