Make It: School Stuff for Kids

Do you have all the supplies you need for school? Even if you do, it's fun to make some items exactly the way you like. When I was in school, I used to spend hours making covers for my books--to keep them safe and to show off my own style. Make some things, customize others and you'll be able to go back to school with style--your own style! 

Activities

  • Do you have a cereal box? Use it to make a pencil case you can bring with you to school.

  • Follow along in this video to learn how to make an easy fidget stick. Or if you have 6 cubes at home, you can also make your own cube-shaped fidget toy.
  • Need a bookmark? Use paper and a glue stick to create this one that can keep your exact spot with a pointer. Bonus: you can decorate it any way you like!
