Fashion Beyond Borders with Hoda Katebi

Hoda Katebi and Abigail Glaum-Lathbury appeared in conversation about fashion, politics and human rights, presented as part of Slow Fashion Month as part of the 2020 One Book, One Chicago season.

Hoda Katebi is a Chicago-based Iranian-American writer, organizer, and creative educator focused on the intersections of fashion, resistance gender and the state. She is the host of #BecauseWeveRead, a radical digital book club and discussion series with 20+ chapters globally and author of the book Tehran Streetstyle.

Abigail Glaum-Lathbury is Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion at School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
