- The first Lincoln Park Branch Library opened on December 21, 1942 in a storefront located at 744 West Fullerton Avenue.
- A new library building was constructed at 959 West Fullerton Avenue and opened on December 1, 1962.
- The branch moved to its current location on February 11, 1995.
