Sandburg Circle cards can only be activated for donors who are eligible for a Chicago Public Library card:
- residents of Chicago
- persons owning property in Chicago
- cardholders at Illinois libraries that participate in the state's reciprocal borrowing program
If you already have a Chicago Public Library card, we'll transfer your account to your Sandburg Circle card number and cancel your current card.
