YOUmedia and the Maker Lab will be participating in Chicago's Opportunity Job Fair and Youth Forum on Thursday, August 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at McCormick Place.
You'll be able to mess around with littleBits and a vinyl cutter and see some creations from teens while learning about the library and its many resources.
This event, specifically for youth ages 16-24, is an opportunity for young Chicagoans to learn more about internship, apprenticeship and job opportunities across the Chicagoland area. In addition, there will be a forum with Common, Chance the Rapper and other local and national celebrities.
