Visit CPL for Autism Hero Day

Have you been wanting to explore the library, but weren't sure how to do that with a child on the autism spectrum? Come to Autism Hero Day on Monday, January 25 in Thomas Hughes Children's Library at Harold Washington Library Center.

Autism Hero Day, inspired and supported by The Autism Therapy Group, is a day to celebrate inclusion. We welcome all children, including children with special needs. Autism Hero Day is a great time to take advantage of all we have to offer. Join us for sensory storytime at 10 a.m. or open science play from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Have any questions about what to expect, or need a specific accommodation? Please call Children's Services at (312) 747-4780.
