The Coffee Alley and First Aid Comics Host Roosevelt Branch Book Discussions

This May, the Roosevelt Branch is teaming up with two local businesses to promote reading and community!

We're moving our Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month discussion of Lucky Girl by Mei-Ling Hopgood to The Coffee Alley on May 12. Enjoy delicious pastries, gelato, and great tea and coffee while sharing your thoughts on this moving memoir. Then, on May 13, graphic novel fans are invited to chat about Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon at First Aid Comics' friendly Little Italy location.

Copies of both books are available now at the Roosevelt Branch. Check out the event calendar to learn more about all of our upcoming events or give us a call at (312) 746-5656.
