Teens, check out this two-week mini-residency program at and around the Logan Square Branch.
You will learn the basics of DSLR photography while traveling to explore some of Chicago's neighborhoods and museums to capture the beauty around them. Be sure to pick up a field trip consent form from a librarian at the branch before the program begins. Cameras and MacBook Pro computers will be provided for participants during the program.
The program ends with a pizza party and Photo Critique for all participating teens, their parents and friends.
As part of the Teen Summer Challenge, this two-week residency is made possible in partnership between Chicago Public Library Teen Services, Shine On Chicago and the Chicago Learning Exchange.
