We're on the map! The Uptown Branch was part of an asset mapping project conducted this semester by college students from the Associated Colleges of the Midwest who live in Uptown/Buena Park and Hyde Park.
Branch manager Mary Clark was interviewed about the ways that the library benefits the neighborhood.
When the students visited the Uptown Branch, they took an interest in the paintings and artwork on display, a feature that we often overlook when we're here every day. One student remarked, "I really love that there are so many different libraries in the Chicago area!"
