Roden Branch Book Discussion Focuses on Hemingway

Sandra Spanier, the general editor of The Letters of Ernest Hemingway published in 2011, remarks that Hemingway's written and unexpurgated letters give readers a much broader idea of the famous author's spare style and larger-than-life public persona.

Appropriately, the Roden Branch Adult Book Discussion is reading Paula McLain's novel The Paris Wife, about Hemingway’s first wife, Hadley Richardson, this month. We will have in hand the first volume of Hemingway's letters for the curious reader so feel welcome to join us at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28.
