Chicago Public Library is always happy when our youngest patrons visit with their caregivers!
There are lots of ways you and your preschooler can enjoy their visit to the library. Check out new books on your preschooler's special interests (trains? unicorns? dinosaurs? we've got them all!). Meet other families and play together. Learn new things, and more.
At the library you can:
- Take your preschooler to a preschool story time.
- Support your preschooler's growing early literacy skills, especially their phonological awareness skills.
- Learn how to practice important independence skills like getting dressed and helping in the kitchen.
- Find books to help talk about big feelings.
- And so much more!
