Database workshops to assist students with science project research took place at two schools, Peck Elementary and Hurley Elementary. Students received hands on instruction on how to use the Chicago Public Library catalog to search for books and online resources. Some popular topics researched this school year were roller coasters, bridges and catapults. Some other topics included corn, chocolate and mold.
