Apna Ghar is trauma-informed care delegate providing mental health care, referral and outreach. Their focus is on domestic violence. Please call each branch below for schedule information.
CPL Cares
CPL Cares is a collective of social service agencies available weekly at Harold Washington Library Center. The dedicated CPL Cares desk is located on the 3rd floor and has a weekly schedule of services, including the ones below. Please call the Information Center at 312-747-4300 for schedule information.
- Chicago Loop Alliance/Streetplus provides housing and employment services.
- Legal Aid Chicago provides legal assistance as well as medical and financial help from the Dept. of Human Services.
- Night Ministry provides referrals to housing, health care and human connection for those who struggle with homelessness and poverty. A nurse practitioner is also available to provide advanced nursing care and select medications.
- Thresholds provides referrals to housing and mental health services.

medication access and housing linkage
Chicago Department of Public Health
CDPH provides mental health care clinicians. These clinicians provide immediate interventions to people presenting with mental health concerns, referrals and case management to those who have received mental health support.
