Holiday Closings
Because all CPL locations close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the Maker Lab is closed on those days.
If you still need to finish up a few holiday gifts, we have Open Shop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20. We also have all-day Open Shop on Friday, December 26 and Saturday, December 27 for all the post-holiday making you can muster.
Makers: The Book
If you haven't read Makers: The New Industrial Revolution by Chris Anderson, now is a great time. It's the topic of a book discussion at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, so after you've finished up in Open Shop at the lab, head over to Room 3N-6 to discuss this great overview of maker culture, and what it means for the future.
