Let’s Eat: Hot Doug’s, Hoosier Mama and Chicago Diner with Peter Sagal

Join us for a veritable feast of culinary entrepreneurs as we present authors Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's, Paula Haney of Hoosier Mama Pie Co. and Kat Barry of the Chicago Diner in conversation with Peter Sagal at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 15 at the Harold Washington Library Center.

Chicago has thousands of restaurants, yet few have earned as devoted a following as Hot Doug's, Hoosier Mama and the Chicago Diner. From finding the perfect niche to day-to-day business practices, these entrepreneurs have found ways to keep growing their enthusiastic fan bases, locally and beyond.

WBEZ's Peter Sagal moderates a discussion featuring fascinating back stories and hilarious anecdotes.

Sohn is the author of Hot Doug's.

Haney is the author of The Hoosier Mama Book of Pie.

Barry is the author of The New Chicago Diner Cookbook.

The authors will sign books after the program; books will be for sale.
