Join CPL for Open House Chicago

Chicago Public Library is excited to take part in Open House Chicago, one of the world's largest architecture and urban exploration festivals. In its 15th year celebrating architecture, culture and community, OHC offers behind the scenes access to more than 200 sites across the city. Join us the third weekend in October to learn more about the ins, outs, art and architecture at CPL's flagship location through guided or self-guided tours and connect with library staff.  Whether you're a regular library user or exploring our city for the first time, we look forward to seeing you.

Every October, the Chicago Architecture Center hosts OHC, a free festival that builds civic pride by providing access to places of architectural, historical and cultural importance and by highlighting the organizations and creative leaders shaping Chicago's neighborhoods. OHC is part of Open House Worldwide, a network of almost 60 organizations hosting festivals and conversations about architecture, design and cities across the globe.

OHC is made possible through the generous support of festival sponsors, donors and government partners.

Come celebrate community, creativity and fall in the city. We'll see you there.
