The Chicago Public Library is embarking on a strategic and capital planning process to set the course for our next five years. The voices of all Chicagoans are an essential part to imagining this future.
To help us better understand how to best serve our communities, we’ve launched a community survey. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is an opportunity for Chicagoans to share how they do or do not use the Library, and what services, programs, or assets they would like to see the Library provide in the future.
Responses to the survey will be used to:
- Understand how Chicago Public Library patrons currently use Library services;
- Assess what users view as the Library's bright spots and opportunity areas;
- Collect information from non-users to understand why they don't engage with their library;
- Assess public perception of capital needs.
