Tuesday, July 29 at 6 p.m., Sulzer Regional Library
Join Chicago drummer and bandleader Tommy Carroll for an interactive musical celebration of Disability Pride Month. Tommy will share stories about the development of his disability identity and experiences being a totally blind professional musician. Following a short demonstration of percussion instruments, Tommy will open up the floor for participatory drumming. This event will allow everyone to start learning to express themselves and their identity through sound, rhythm and music.
