Garfield Ridge Branch hosts a Polish American Heritage Month art exhibit from October 1 to November 18 featuring Urszula Lelen.
Artist Statement
"Painting and photography in her art live in symbiosis and deeply affect her perception. Both are processes which start in her head long before she takes a camera or brushes in her hands. This is a thought or a vision which persistently comes back and bothers her. What inspires her, is the world—year seasons, life passing or a human being—everything she can perceive. She creates series to tell a story in which pictures are often magical, inexplicit and symbolical."
