Artist Statement

Jane Labowitch, aka Princess Etch, is a full-time Etch A Sketch artist residing in Chicago. She has been etching for over 20 years and doodling for over 10 years. Since obtaining a bachelor of fine arts in illustration from the American Academy of Art, Labowitch's Etch A Sketch art has allowed her opportunities to travel all over the United States, as well as Paris and India. Notable clients/features include Disney, Cartoon Network, MTV, CNN, Callaway Golf, Buzzfeed, the Huffington Post, the Art Institute of Chicago, Britney Spears and Pee-wee Herman. Labowitch hopes her work inspires people young and old that art can be just as much about fun and play as it is about creativity.
