Artist Statement

Soul-y He-art Felt

Life would be quite boring without art—everything from a design on the products we purchase to the various colors of the peacock. Art is a reflection of our most powerful tool, our imagination. Our hopes and our dreams begin in that infinite space in our minds and hearts. It is in the endless realm of possibility that our world is created from. Anything that exists today was once a thought, a whisper a sketch. We must never cease to nurture the spectrum of beauty. We must never waiver in asking what else is possible. We can never let the spirit of creativity fade into the background. We must protect the infinite forms of expression that reside in all art forms. Our creative capacity is the only thing that can guide us to a brighter future.
