Artist Statement

Visual artist Joanna K. Szymanska is traveling frequently. She is taking each trip as an opportunity to explore the world and to get an inspiration for her urban and nature photographic/mixed media/digital art interpretations. Her creativity started many years ago, earning her master of arts in visual arts education from The Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland. Afterward she worked as a visual arts teacher in Poland. Later she adjusted her professional development by implementing new technologies in the process of her art creation. She occasionally contributes to The International Art Groups Web-Collections, offers her personalized art cards and also her photography service in her community and to nonprofit organizations. The activity on the internet keeps Joanna connected to her family, friends and followers in North America and Europe, by her up-to-date website. The artist and her work are easily accessible as a result of her frequent digital art posts and social media contributions. Joanna is affiliated with ArtPo Group and Artists Association of Elk Grove Village, and is an artist member of the Oak Park Art League.
