On June 8, we wrapped up our 9th annual Teen Winter Challenge art competition with a winner's gala, complete with tapas and sparkling cider "champagne." Almost 200 teens submitted portfolios, making this year's competition our largest to date! A print catalog containing at least one piece from every teen's portfolio was entered into our collection.

Of the ~200 submissions, 25 winners were selected to receive monetary prizes and a wall-mounted exhibition at Harold Washington Library Center. This exhibit was unveiled at the gala and will remain up until the end of next year's competition. Here is a list of all the winning teens:
