Teens 14 to 18, try on a new career for the day and see what can happen!

At 1st Saturdays: Careers in Focus, you can network with industry professionals to find out how they developed their careers and honed their skills to be at the top of their industries. You can also talk to colleges and local organizations to find programs in these industries and explore a range of professional opportunities. 

This event is held monthly during the school year at Harold Washington Library Center.

Event Schedule

  • 12 p.m.-2:30 p.m.: Demos, hands-on activities and chat with professionals
  • 2:30 p.m.-3 p.m.: Snacks for all attendees
  • 3 p.m.-4 p.m.: Panel discussion
  • 4 p.m.: Giveaway prizes
