How do I update my card when it’s about to expire or expired?

To update/renew your card:

You’ll need to show current, valid ID with your name and address to complete the process. If updating your card by phone or online, please show ID on your next visit to the library.

Updates via the online form can take up to 48 hours to take effect.

Reciprocal Library Cardholders

If you’re a reciprocal library cardholder, we'll need to get verification from your home library. The expiration date of your CPL card will be the same as the expiration date of your card at your home library. When updating your card in person, please show your current library card from your home library.
