How much does an interlibrary loan cost?

We make every effort to obtain materials at no cost. However, some libraries charge a lending fee, and we must pass on these fees.

All free sources will be exhausted before using locations that charge lending fees. If a fee is required, we will contact you before requesting the material.

Typically, fees start at $10. Most requests for copies from medical periodicals require a fee of at least $10.

Please be aware that if you don’t pick up an interlibrary loan for which an approved fee has been charged, you will still be responsible for paying the fee.
