Historical Note
St. Mark United Methodist Church is located at 8441 S. St. Lawrence Avenue in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood. The church’s camera club met on Monday afternoons. Doris Harris was the group’s president and Lynne Lee and Doris Harris served as the club’s church delegates.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of 38 photographs taken by photographers who were members of St. Mark United Methodist Church’s camera club. Information on each photograph includes its title, photographer (if known), and date. The majority of photographs are mounted on mat boards. Photographs depict images of people and places in numerous Chicago neighborhoods.
