Scope and Content
The collection contains issues of 13 newspapers related to the South Shore neighborhood. The collection is arranged by newspaper name. The Windsor Park Herald newspapers are from the 1890s, the other titles are from the 20th century. The newspapers from the 1960s and 1970s illustrate the changing population of the area.
Related material can be found in the South Shore Community Collection (SSCC) and the South Shore Historical Society Collection (SSHS). The newspapers have been cataloged separately in order to highlight the information they contain and to afford them proper housing.
