We’ve come to the end of yet another tournament. What a whirlwind it’s been! With a roster of titles that ranged from the critically acclaimed to those flying under the radar, it was a real toss up as to who would emerge victorious and take home the Rooster.
I certainly do not want to outrage anyone by spoiling the outcome for those who have not yet had a chance to read the results. I will leave you with the final judgment and an invitation to view our lists of this year’s competitors and past winners. You will find yourself hard pressed not to find a few picks for your to-read shelf which, by the way, you can keep track of now on this nifty new website of ours.
I hope you’ve enjoyed checking in with the tournament. I, for one, will be busy from now until possibly mid-summer catching up on all the great books that have been championed throughout this month of book madness. My top three picks are: The Dinner, The Son and A Tale for the Time Being.
