January 2020 Reading Challenge: Best of the Best

Updated February 27, 2020: Thank you for sharing your reading choices with us! We've contacted the winners of this drawing.

It's the start of the new year, and the adult winter reading challenge is officially here! This month, participants will be entered in a drawing for a Chicago Public Library T-shirt or a copy of The Sixth Extinction, this year's One Book, One Chicago selection.

January's challenge is to read a book we recommended as the Best of the Best 2019. Or, read one of our past Best of the Best selections

Let us know in the comments which Best of the Best book you're reading. In February, we'll draw winners from all the entries.

Watch for new challenges and more chances to win in February and March!

Reading more than one book? Feel free to leave multiple comments, but please note the drawing will only include one entry per reader. CPL staff, please share what you're reading, but please note staff are not eligible to win.

Thanks to the Chicago Public Library Foundation for supporting this challenge.

Which Best of the Best book are you reading this month?
