Great DIY & Craft Books for Teens

Winter break is looming for many Chicago teens. The library has so many books to help you get creative, ranging from how to upgrade a t-shirt to how to makeover your space with DIY décor. Fight winter break boredom and get creative in the process!

If you know you want to make something, but unsure of what it is, The Big-ass Book of Crafts is a great one to browse through since its divided into different sections like Outdoorsy and You've Been Framed.

If you have stuff laying around the house that you know could be a lot cooler, Awesome Projects From Unexpected Places is sure to inspire you with a lot of upcycling ideas.

Loom Magic! is another great one because it demonstrates how to make more than bracelets with a rubber band loom.
