Bi Visibility Day is September 23rd

Honoring both bisexual and biromantic people, Bi Visibility Day has been celebrated on September 23rd every year since 1999. Bisexuality/biromanticism is often defined as attraction to your own and other genders, including attraction to nonbinary people as well as men and women. Despite 5.2% of all Americans identifying as bi, some people still don’t think bisexuality is real, making representation even more important.

Looking for romance?   In Hani and Ishu's Guide to Fake Dating, Hani’s friends don’t believe she’s really bi because she’s only dated boys, so she panics and claims to be dating her nemesis, Ishu.

Looking for fantasy? In In Other Lands, misanthrope Elliott finds a gateway to a fantasy world, where he teams up with elf Selene and golden boy Luke to try to solve problems with less violence, and more sarcasm.

Looking for horror? In She Is A Haunting, in exchange for college tuition, Jade spends the summer in Vietnam with her father, pretending to be straight and fixing up an old house that she can tell is haunted.

Looking for historical fiction? In The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue, not-so-proper gentleman Henry "Monty" Montague travels Europe on a Grand Tour with his best friend (and secret crush).
